Deceptively laid-back-sounding country-rock plaints like "Out on the Weekend" and the title cut caress the ear unassumingly, pulling you into the more ominous subtext that is present even in the rollicking "Are You Ready for the Country.".

Additional InformationNeil Young's most popular album polishes his idiosyncrasies into something accessible without sacrificing their substance.
Harvest has always been in my all time top ten, if not, top five recordings. But this remaster and subsequent pressing is without a doubt the best cut of vinyl I've ever heard.
I'd always thought the album sounded a little lacking in detail and presence, despite most aspects being top notch.
This has brought the work into the realm of the greatest audio experiences to be had. The only issue is having to get up and turn it over. I hasten to declare this my all time number one favourite work of art ever created. Yes, it is THAT GOOD!
I initially though £32.50 was quite expensive for a single album, but after my first listen I can wholeheartedly say it's the best £32.50 ever spent.
Do yourself and your ears a favour, listen to this remaster on a well set up turntable through a decent sound system and I guarantee you'll have every bit of the best audio experiences to be had bar none. I can't recommend it enough.. Phenomenal!
It even came with a lovely print of the front cover that will be getting framed forthwith.
