After many visits to the country this is the best option map - but I live in hope of finding a better one!
It's an up to date map of Romania - essential if you plan a self driving tour - and this is the only contemporary map that has the new "motorway" roads included. Good bits + up to date + tourist spots and scenic roads are identified in green - so good for route planning But + the paper is flimsy and the maps isn't durable - tearing along the seams. This won't last long before you need to sellotape it back together. + the scale is insufficient for many of the country roads. A twice scale "atlas" version would be a much better buy - if only it was available... so you will need to pay up for data in the country to use a sat-nav facility on your phone if you don't want to miss the country roads (which is 99% the reason to be in Romania!) After many visits to the country this is the best option map - but I live in hope of finding a better one!
