Disappointing
I was attracted by the preset buttons and selecting a preset is indeed very straightforward. However the other controls are a pain to use. My last radio had a button for sleep but this one involves pressing buttons at least six times. Volume adjustment also involves pressing buttons - not so easy when I’m in bed. Good to Get up and Go!
The radio reception is not A1 but it is certainly good rather than poor thus the 'yes' vote. With ease of use , once used to the format it is not at all bad - and that is for someone with zilch expertise with gadgets!! AGain, the reception is good rather than poor and for a radio/alarm of this size and cost, it is extremely good. The primary aim is for an alarm - and this is certainly a good one. All in all, extremely good value for money and a very good size and shape. Easily housed on bedside cabinet and the clock light can be enhanced in order to see the time clearly during the night time hours. Also time is electronically set.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
