Castrol is one of the leading brands FST Edge Titanium is the top of their range Its known for its "shear" strength, meaning how long its able to maintain its molecule viscosity range after being heated & cooled many times over, most oil is good in the beginning but once its been through some action it begins to lose its properties fairly quickly if its the cheepo stuff, this leads to the oil becoming less lubricating & even a bit thinner which in when you will start to experience s drop in the oil level as it simply becomes so thin it blows by the piston rings & ends up in the combustion chamber where it is burnt off ! Hence needing frequent top ups, which means you end up buying more so really its a false economy to buy cheap ! Above this oil is where you get on to the ester based stuff double the price but absolutely fantastic, you cant get better than ester but it's simply overkill in most engines & for most people's usage factors !Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is good quality engine oil. I have read on skoda forum called briskoda that the skoda owners who used this oil have been rating it very highly. That's the reason I bought.
