I've been aked to write about this battery. What is there to say about a battery ? It gives out the most lovely volts, at least 12 of them, and it claims to have 7 amps for at least an hour It is truly a thing of great beauty and I couldn't resist buying a pair of them so they would have some company for each other. I hope they will be happy in their new home so far away from their country of birth.

It is the best known brand for this type of battery and therefore I assume the the quality is good. Without doing controlled tests it is impossible to judge important factors such as lifetime. This survey (and most other's that I have been asked to do) would be better after a year or so.

I had to search youtube for a video to see how to take the UPS apart with destroying the plastic retaining tags of the case. I removed the aged batteries. They are glued together with a self adhesive foam pad. It is possible to remove and use the pad if you are careful. The new batteries worked perfectly, first time. A few short power disconnect tests and all is fine. A good choice for replacements.
