  • The Saint enters unknown territory . . .

A collection of six stories about Simon Templar, a.k.a., The Saint, in which he encounters out-of-the-ordinary events. Two involve voodoo/magic, one is science fiction by timing (a story of a helicopter a few years before there were any), a novella involving a process for making gold, a story of a classic mad scientist who wants to unleash giant ants on mankind, and an encounter with the celebrated inhabitant of a certain Scottish loch, plus a scholarly introduction by one of the editors (Greenberg) and an afterword by Leslie Charteris himself. Stories that should appeal to fans of the Saint and also of interest to sf fans who like early sf stories. At lest two of the stories (the giant ants and the Loch Ness entries) were adapted for the TV show with Roger Moore.
