I had heard the noise about JIS - head drivers but dismissed it a bit as toolitism, after all, what's wrong with a smack from a flat punch and then driving in your second-best Phillips? All that changed when my lovely new Megaora arrived and I set-about a bank of Honda Carbs. What's this? It fits, it turns, which shouldn't be a miracle, but in this age of low-quality tools is. What's even better is that if the fastener you are tackling has been gorilla'd before, you can hit this driver with a hammer for more impact and a burst of man-tool testosterone. Brilliant. Buy one, or even two!

It's really cool, shame there are no more JIS screwdrivers. Also, the fact that it's impact type makes it especially valuable in some situations

Absolutely spot on. Japanese engineering excellence. Not just for motorbikes every joiner or engineer should have them. The work on Philips or post drive screws. They will get a screw out of 50 year old mahogany.. I can not recommend these enough. I'm a joiner and s motorbike enthusiasts so best tool you will buy. Good fantastic seem expensive but worth every penny. Joiner mechanic engineer must have tool. Best engineers in world the Japanese.i have all sizes now.

Outstanding quality from Vessel. I have three JIS screwdrivers from this company and can't find faults with any of them. The Impacta rotates twelve degrees to the left on impact giving just the right amount of turn to break the screw free.... Fantastic quality and a must have in any tool box.

Far better than a Phillips for any thing from Japan with a cross head screw .
