Finally a great way to mark anything.
I think this scribe will write on a diamond. I handle dozens of parts when repairing pumps and blowers and now I have an accurate way of labeling the parts so I know which unit they go back to. I have used tags, markers and paint and during the clean up phase they come loose, get covered up or painted over and I do not know which parts go where. Great product, great value, bad design.
I'm a metal fabricator by trade. In my breast pocket I carry a scribe, a pen, and a Sharpie marker and I use them all multiple times each day. I thought that the magnet would help me quickly discern between a ferrous or non ferrous material, or retrieve a screw or small metal part from a hard to reach area, as it turned out the magnet is too strong and I'd lose my scribe every time leaned over something made of steal. Great idea but it needs either a weaker magnet, or some sort cap to lessen the magnetism. Very well made product, good value, just didn't work for me.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
