You can modify,YES you can!
You can modify this mount to fit a CMORE sight. Just make the mounting holes on the base that attaches to the weapon larger by drilling them wider. The screws with CMORE sight work or screws with SI MOUNT work also. I have done this on my PS90 with included factory installed CMORE sight and it works great and looks awesome! Just make sure your mount is held down, I used a small block of wood placed small nails in holes that I was not going to drill out to lock it in place and drilled out the two I needed took seconds. There was no damage to mount it is a fine quality product I thought the small nails I used would surely leave scuffs on the paints finish of the mount but nothing. In conclusion the the battery door on the CMORE is on the right side of the sight one of the protective pillars blocks it just barley from opening but nothing a Dremel can't fix and some touch up paint. Well made but not for me
This is a well made product. It went together well and mounted solidly. Unfortunately, it did not mesh well with my Trijicon RMR. The "wings" on the side of this mount blocked the controls of the optic. I was able to control the optic, but it is very difficult to do. Great setup to protect your optics. This and the riser mount (ordered separately) makes for a perfect co-witness with Mbus back up sights on any rifle or AR Pistol. With thumb wheel, the sight can be taken off quickly for weapon cleaning so as not to damage the optics. I did have to work down the OD on the 4 pins that come with the mount by a few thousands so that they would seat into the bottom of my Vortex Viper - no biggie. I put the pins into a drill and used emory paper to take some material off the OD of the pin heads and everything dropped into place. Strike Industries does a nice job of making accessories and parts and this definitely takes care of protecting my Viper.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
