Just the job for a chunky Syrian hamster!
Pretty good really for the price I think. Well built, sturdy and the wheel is almost silent and runs smoothly. It is pretty big and sticks out quite a long way from the side of the cage so that's worth bearing in mind. In the end I couldn't get it in my hamster's cage (Savic Hamster Heaven) but it would fit if I moved other things around, just my hamster gets very grumpy if I do that and I can't deal with the sulking! She plays with it very happily outside the cage on her daily exercise outings.Big for a hamster, but that's better for them than a smaller wheel of course. Average quality spinner
This wheel is fairly quite how ever the wheel does not run true and woobles when your pet is going for it, this in turn makes the noise, also after 2 days the plastic clips that house the bearing kept falling off with the weight of the hamster as the clips were not that prominate and the whole wheel ended up on the floor of the cage, had to superglue it back together. So quiet!!!
I bought the wheel as an upgrade for my Syrian hamster. He loves it. He’s never had a vertical wheel and I can’t get him off it. I use both the stand and attachment to the cage to hold it up and I cannot hear it at all all I can hear is my hamsters feet running around. I was worried about how small it would be but it’s very spacious and my hamster loves it. Thank you so much. Very disappointing
