Cutting the hedge with LIGHT!
I have an allotment near my home, but it has no mains power. In the past, I've used petrol-powered cutters, but they were heavy, dirty, noisy and very smelly. -Enter the electric hedge trimmers! Despite being the cheapest I could find, these cutters are surprisingly good! I had already bought a battery-powered strimmer from the same manufacturer and the batteries are the same. I also bought a spare battery to fit either. I have installed a simple solar-charging system on my allotment shed roof, so I can now cut the hedges and strim the grass, powered totally by light. ... Because these trimmers are so cheap, I wouldn't recommend them for huge, thick hedges that haven't been cut for ages, but if you take your time and use them carefully, they are brilliant. In use, they are very light to handle, they don't smell (!), and they are very quiet -perfect, but don't expect them to hold up to major abuse. Great 18v Hedge Trimmer.
This is the third Terratek 18v product I have bought and is a great little hedge trimmer. Light and easy to use, good value for money, and seems to work really well. I used it to cut 40 metres of privet hedge front and back, and it only used one section of the three section battery. I've already got the 18v strimmer and extending hedge trimmer, the batteries all interchange, which is a handy feature. Does a great job and excellent value for money
This hedge trimmer is great for domestic use and does 90% of the jobs that my Bosch mains power one does, all without the hassle of cables and lighter to use. The hooked cutting blades work much better than the scissor type as they trap the hedge rather than pushing it away. Battery seems to be good quality and holds the charge well, a good 30 minutes use. It's a standard format as well so extra packs are readily available if you need longer use time. Really good product, I bought it as it had good ratings and wasn’t disappointed! I’m disabled and this trimmer is lightweight, works well and does the job efficiently... one handed! Brilliant value for money Cordless HedgeCutter
Bought this to hopefully make the cutting of the top of a large beech hedge 110 ft x 10ft x 5ft. easier than using my corded cutter. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! Light and easy to handle with very sharp blades & a good reach, which coped easily with this years growth, on both the top & most of the sides with only one recharge needed. Battery lasted around 40mins; recharged in 2.5 hrs. It has a good feel to it & is well made; also very safe as it cuts out the second you release either control. Amazing powerful machine

Super product - Sturdy yet light and well priced, cuts well, is convenient and works for about 45 mins then runs out of juice suddenly - but recharges in just less than 2 hours. So far so good
This is my second Chinese hedge trimmer, this one is a bit lower on decibels. It’s a good garden tool and tackles heavy jobs easily. The only problem is that battery replacements don’t appear to be available. My old one still works fine but after three years the battery won’t hold a charge and it’s the same spec as this. A Little Beauty
