Solid performer
Well-manufactured as one would expect from Browning. Easy to install right where the top plate / rear sight mount over the slide is located. Two screws to remove (the original screws are in REALLY tight), remove the old sight mount, orient the new scope mount and replace the screws with a little Locktite. Tighten the screws firmly. Let the Locktite dry. Piece of cake. I mounted a CVLife Red / Green dot sight and tightened the sight screws on the new scope base and off to the range. After sighting in the red dot, was consistently shooting a 3 inch diameter circle at 25 yards and putting all the shots through a 1 1/2" hole at 10 yards. (I'm still learning trigger control and not a very good shot.) The sight was holding onto the scope base just fine. Threw 400+ rds down range without any variation. My conclusion is that the scope base provides a solid mounting rail for a sight just as it was designed to do on a Buck Mark pistol. This is my second scope base on two different model Buck Mark pistols, a Standard URX and a Plus UDX, with the same solid results.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
