Heavy duty tool, does the job through roots,splits through stones and flint with little effort just the weight of the tool does the job.

This is a must have for gardeners. Chomps through everything. I have managed to quickly dig holes to plant trees even though the ground is hard, stoney ahd full of old tree roots. Excellent tool.
Needed to clear a large clump of bamboo with a mat of roots 18 inches thick. Tried chopping it up with an axe and a mattock but they just bounced off. Thought I'd need a jack hammer when I spotted this. The weight and chisel end meant I could cut it into foot squares and lever it out. Hard work but did the job.

If you have to dig a hole for anything, it’s going to be hard work. Anything that helps you: dig easily; dig accurately; dig deep; and cut through roots, HAS to be a good thing. This tool is the absolute business!! It’s not cheap to purchase but divide it by a 100 fence posts and deduct the chiropractors fees..
