So fast and easy
This new Dremel EZ Lock mandrel is so awesome. Makes changing blades so much easier. Just twist and lift. No more time consuming either removing the mandrel from the tool or getting a screwdriver to remove the tool. A "tight places cutter"

Not as fragile as the original design.
The original Dremel wheels and their similar knock-off wheels in my experience were inherently weak by design. Do to the tension placed on the wheel from the screw, they tend to break when attacking any material remotely thick. Because of the new EZ-Lok thingy, there is a very slight amount of play in the wheel to shaft mechanism.
