Very pleased with this good quality stove.
I love this electric stove. I did a lot of reasearch before deciding on the Dimplex Brayford, and I'm glad I did. It's the ideal size for my lounge, the flame effect is one of the most realistic I've seen, creating a lovely cosy atmosphere. I doubt I'll use the heater much, if at all, due to having central heating but when I tested it, it is very effective even on the low heat and very quiet, even on the high. Previous old fan heaters have made considerably more noise than this one does, more a gentle hum. The stove feels solid and well built but light enough for me to move around when necessary. Having bought it in an unused, still boxed condition for just over half the rrp, I consider this to have been a real bargain, and a very happy purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Lovely and warm
This little stove fits our fireplace perfectly and makes the room look warm and cosy. The fans are a bit noisy but not annoying as it only takes 5-10 minutes to heat our lounge. A good flame effect, far superior to others we found that were more expensive and this is a great price and a good compromise for those who can’t afford the ‘opti-mist’ or have the ‘real thing’. It looks lovely and we have it on every day.

Already have an other Dimplex Optiflame stove which influenced us to purchase this smaller one for a different location. Appearance of stove is excellent and flame effect of the log bed is extremely effective. Previously had an "Optimist" stove but problems with the transducer causes the unit to cut out completely.
