I already have an eight year old TZ50 on one of my bikes , I bought this TZ 50 because it is very good value for money , if kept clean , lubricated and adjusted they seem to last forever . The setting up and adjustments are easy and don't require special tools . I always fit a gear guard to help protect the gears from damage . There are no instructions with the derailleur , so if you don't know how to fit and look after your gears there are lots of good bike mechanics books available and Shimano instruction information on the web .

Set the gears up but kept jumping between gears the red trailing gear wasn’t smooth and after a day it twisted its self up don’t know if the part was wrong or my prefer was wrong but just put it down to drailier bought another and it’s fine
