The AT-VM95en has an integral elliptical diamond (nude). The elliptical form needle being cut from an integral diamond of cylindrical section, itself inserted in the cantilever creates a lighter and more rigid transmission system than a diamond point stuck on a cylindrical support (Shank) in titanium as in the AT-VM95E. It follows from the implementation of a full diamond (nude) a higher cost, however the improvement in the quality of reproduction is undeniable, in particular the faithful restitution of high frequencies and transitional responses. Our double mobile magnet cells in the VM95 series can be used over an almost infinite period by replacing the interchangeable needle . Massive step up
This cartridge was bought on recommendation from a number of people and it absolutely delivers. I have a Rega P3 project/rebuild and was only ever used to my P1 with the upgrade pack and Bias2. I’d read so much about the value that the 95EN offered and the strings and vocals really shine through with this Beaut. Easy to install and set up. No hassle. Very pleased.
