Switzer Sand Blaster
I bought this product because it was cheap, and I wasn't expecting much if I'm honest. However, it is quite well built and finished. It did arrive with a bent leg, but that's the couriers fault, not the product. In common with all such cabinets, if you use it as it arrives, it will leak dust all over your workshop, but again, this is not something exclusive to this cabinet. Without vacuum extraction, they all will. I advise sealing the floor panel with caulk though, as this was not very well sealed. The lid will also need additional sealing with stick on P profile draught excluding strip, which once done, greatly improves things. I use it with a vacuum extractor, and if you do the same, block off the rear opening and adapt a vacuum hose to extract from the main filter output. Once you do all of the above, you will have a great cabinet at a rock bottom price.
The light is adequate, if not amazing, and unless you have a regulated air supply it uses a lot of air with the fitted 5mm nozzle. It comes with a gun and spare nozzles of different sizes, which the ad didn't say. You will need a fairly beefy air compressor, or one with a large tank to keep up with this cabinet. If you blast at 50psi, then you will need a 10cfm compressor and a 50 litre tank minimum, and even then you will be working with the compressor on most of the time. a 15cfm compressor would be ideal.
All in all, for the price, you will struggle to beat it.
