You won't be disappointed if you follow prep and speed directions
It was a great price and at least $20.00 less than other retail prices I have seen.
We have used the Spiralizer attachment with our KitchenAid 6 quart Professonial series. It is easy to attach, use. Clean up is simple, although the main arm of the unit is not immersible. Construction quality is good, with most parts being made of metal. Other plastic parts appear to be of good quality and should last.
Apples: Peal, slice and core well. The attachment works better if the apples are placed on the unit as the instruction picture shows. If it is reversed, some peel is missed.
Potatoes: Cut off the ends, or it will be harder to center and line up the potato. We made curly fries and they come out just a little thicker than shoestring potatoes. If you fry 6 minutes, or longer you get curly fry potato chips, which is not a bad thing in my book.
Cucumbers: Are next, but if it works like what we have seen so far, we will be happy.
