Excellent results every time, well worth the money
Deliberated long and hard over this and its competitor which is priced over double this. So glad I purchased this one. The bread comes out perfectly every time, the super fast loaf is great. We bake a loaf every day and slice it in a mechanical slicing machine, the 1.5 lb loaf fits perfectly when doing this. My kids no longer want shop bought bread, citing its poor taste. A bit disappointed.
I'm not very impressed with this breadmaker, although I've only used it twice so far, but each time the bread has come out really heavy and not cooked through. (the last loaf I made i had to finish baking it in the oven after I took it out of the breadmaker) It is very easy to use and easy to clean. I would have given this machine 5 stars, but unfortunately I believe their recipe book is incorrect. I have been making bread with machines and by hand for many years now, but none of my recipes use 2 tablespoons of sugar. The most I have ever used is 2 TEASPOONS. Hence the bread is extremely sweet. I have amended their recipes from TBS for sugar to TPS. This works fine and the bread bakes perfectly well by reducing the sugar quantity. I do find it difficult to remove the paddle, this is not stuck in the bread but the pan, this also makes it difficult to get the bread out. This breadmaker machine I purchased, was to replace my previous morphy Richards breadmaker which I had used regularly for over 20years but had finally stopped working. I decided to go for the same manufacturer when I bought my replacement as I knew their products were excellent. Good for 'normal' bread.
I brought this to make my own wheat free bread. The receipe uses eggs and milk that need to be between 21-28°c and for the flour to be added slowly, so no good if you want to use the time delay mode! Unfotunately I didn't like the taste or texture of the bread that it made but my children didn't seem to mind. Made pizza dough (wheat free) this tasted fine but the receipe in the book is for 'normal' pizza dough. Found that adding more flour to it that the dough was ok.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very pleased
I've had a bread machine for years now- I'm on my third. I chose this model specifically because of the good reviews and the easy availability of spare bread pans which are the things that seem to go most often- or to be more precise - the seals go , so being able to replace the parts will hopefully extend the life of the machine considerably. Neither of my previous bread machines has stopped being usable because of anything but that, so I am assuming this will be the same. However this is the first Morphy Richards machine I've had , so only time will tell. Apart from that, it's not too huge, I like the way the vents are high up, and it seems to make a slightly more evenly risen loaf than my previous machines. Bread machine
I have one before, over 15 years old. definitely recommend getting one, saves alot of time on kneading and more time on rising especially dough. You can now make a lot more things then a few years ago. There are a lot more recipes for this machine. Including cakes as well as different types of bread. Make sure to read instructions as the out come could be different to what you expect.Highly recommended if your hands aren't what they used to be. Deliver was quick. Very quick to set up. the best bread maker you can buy!
i have had breadmakers before, in fact i had an expensive delongi/kenwood [same thing] it was hit and miss every time i used it .....would it be half decent bread or a breeze block? i gave it to friends to use...... this breadmaker has never ever failed to produce the perfect product every single time. my daughter has the exact same one , which i didnt know when i bought this.....she is 100% happy with hers and wouldnt swap it for another so dont hesitate with this breadmaker .it is perfik! just add the ingredients carefully measured into the machine in the order they are listed in the recipie , thats the secret...... cant recommend this enoughVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
