  • It tells time -- superlatively.

It tells time -- superlatively. It's easy to change time zones; but that's something most of us don't need to do very frequently. It's bigger and heavier than my old, radio-controlled watch. (Some days, I wear my old watch, just because it's lighter.) I removed two links, in the band. The pins were easy to extract; but each pin was set with tiny retaining washers that were easy to lose and hard to insert, around the pin, for repositioning. The pins are too thin (i.e., loose) to hold, without these washers. This watch's value, to me, is the knowledge that it's connected to the GPS satellites, doesn't need batteries or charging (normally), and that it always displays the absolutely correct time. It also looks a lot better than the typical, black plastic GPS watch.

  • One of the very BEST Citizen watches

This is a man's watch. If you travel between time zones, this is the watch for you. It's large, easy to read, great "wrist presence," rugged (stainless steel and sapphire lens), and is appropriate for any occasion. The watch is calibrated by synching with satellite time signals. I have two other Citizens that calibrate with radio transmissions. The initial setup is somewhat complex, but there are multiple videos that make the process doable. The bracelet is excellent. The lume is very good. The craftsmanship is superb. The second hand aligns with the face markings EXACTLY. With the single, multi-purpose registry, the face is uncluttered. The date window is large and easy to read. Most of the stainless steel case and bracelet have a satin finish. I highly recommend this model Citizen.

  • A beautiful & Precise Tech Treasure with a simplistic Elegant design

Overalls Amazing tech, Simple and elegant design, Clean Dial. Accuracy and Efficiency The primary function of any watch besides fashion and passion is, keeping time and this thing does it better than, well, almost anyone,PERIOD! Accurate as GPS Satellites, it doesn't get better than this. The accuracy on this thing is remarkable, the speed of syncing with Satellite is faster than any Satellite watch out there, including the latest from Seiko Casio or even Citizen itself. Tech and Major Features When I opened the package, the watch was already on Power-Save mode and immediately activated when I opened, just when it detected any light :) 2 years of power reserve without charging for normal use 7 years of power reserve if kept in dark, where it goes to power save mode after 3 days if kept in dark, Awesome :) Outlook The watch is just simply elegant, the bracelet is although Chinese made, it is without a doubt a good looking bracelet. Watch is not heavy as I read in other reviews, I had a Seiko SNZG13J1 and this seems lighter or equal to that one. The sapphire crystal is really good.

  • Handsome, readable, high tech...

I’ve only had it a week, but so far so good. Hands could be more luminescent, and band adjustment probably should be done by jeweler (I’ve adjusted many bands previously but couldn’t pop the pin on this one and jeweler said it was tricky with pin and tiny collar-like piece), but otherwise love it. Hope it serves me as well as my Citizen AT solar watch which lasted about 15 years (cost to repair by Citizen would have been close to what I paid for this watch). Handsome readable uncluttered dual. Substantial but not too heavy. Sapphire crystal a must have. Satellite wave technology impressive, and was easy to set—touched 1 button. Haven’t challenged it with daylight savings time or time zone changes yet.

  • Fast and good looking GPS watch

Looks good and works exactly as expected. It needs more charging than other citizen watches but it's easy to leave on the windowsill for a few days. My biggest complaint is the seconds hand doesn't line up with the markers well but I won't fault Citizen for that since a lot of quartz watches face similar issues. The GPS time receive is very fast, it will usually complete in just a few seconds. The GPS location receive takes longer (about 30-ish seconds) but it's still faster than my atomic Casio. As far as looks go, I think it looks very good. I replaced the metal strap with a rubber strap, and I think I'll try a leather strap next. I haven't swam with it yet but it's held up to showers, etc.

  • Amazing watch

I have a few excellent watches. This watch connects easily to satellites for time and gps position. Good looking, easy to read, and the metal band is surprisingly comfortable. Not gripes at all, but things to be aware of. The watch is using signal from satellites. For me, it's one second in front of the atomic clock. The watch does not auto adjust for daylight savings. Very quick to set for dst. This is now my daily wearer. I put my Casio Oceanus on for something more formal. Would I buy it again, absolutely. Recommend to friends, yes.

  • The cure for anyone's fascination with the correct time!

It is by far the best watch I have ever owned. It has been always correct to the precise second for the past 2 years straight. It sets itself and the only thing you need to do is to turn daylight savings time on and off as necessary. It is extremely beautiful and I never get tired of looking at it as it looks differently in every lighting situation. I also have a rubber strap for it (Citizen Part Number 59-S53307) which turns it into a CC3005-00E and I switch it back and forth from time to time, but I do prefer the metal bracelet. I highly recommend it.

  • Great watch, easy to set up and use.

Love the watch. Shopped around for quite a while before I ended it up buying it on ebay. Excellent deal. Stylish and well made. Easy to set up and use, except for the registration which was difficult. Ended up doing it manually. Watch found the correct time zone easily and set the time automatically. Can't wait to take it on a trip. Note: watch is a bit heavy, so keep that in mind if you're interested in it.

  • Incredible

Not only is it incredible value for the money, not only does it have awesome tech (the satellite time keeping is outstanding, not only does it keep accurate time, not only is the build quality and materials amazing. It is also a beautiful watch, truly. The dial shines bright, the textured parts in the middle, the sapphire crystal and the high quality stainless steel and of course eco drive technology is some of the best in the industry. If you're looking for the intersection of high quality design and today's tech, look no further than this watch.

  • Superb accuracy. Great value.

Great watch. Incredibly accurate. Has not varied one second in two weeks as compared to two standalone GPS receivers. I did have to run the leap second adjustment routine described in the manual to correct a 15 second error our of the box. Merely syncing to a GPS signal did not resolve that, but the leap second correction routine (which takes about 15 minutes) got the time dead on.
