Pleased with this purchase ready for the next heatwave. Bear in mind though that the window kit is only suitable for sash type windows. Other than that this unit can cool down a big bedroom. The instruction advises running the unit in fan mode for 2 hours if not going to be used for a long time and will be put into storage. This will hopefully stop mould growth. Easy to remove parts that can be cleaned. Heavy but wheels made it easy to be moved around.

during the most recent hot spell(highest on record)this little gem was a blessing. cooled after a short period approx 30 mins my 18 sq foot bedroom to aid me to sleep. set on lowest speed setting i found the noise level on par with my overhead ceiling fan so had no problem at all sleeping.footprint is for aircon rather small,great things come in small packages!!!i know there are more powerful units out there stumped for this one and very pleased i did.

Using in the lounge which is 20' x 14'.. temperature at start was 25degrees..within 30mins it was down to 20degrees much more comfortable, yes it's a little noisy to watch the TV with,but you quickly get used to it.
