    Great Flier "scares em off"

Bought this kite to scare off pigeons from my property. Knowing Sparrow hawks soon clear an area of pigeons, I thought I'd give this kite a try. Flown from a 7 meter whip in the garden it has done the trick. The kite flies well in little wind and flies really well when gusty as it ducks, dives & weaves about with some realism. Been a pigeon free zone ever since. Importantly have taken it down now & again so as not to give any pigeons chance to get used ti it. Simply put, " it's great at doing the job".

    Not fit for purpose

The first day after erecting the kite the wire around the bird flew off.

  • It works well enough...

It does what it says on the box! It scares pigeons off a particular area on my roof where I installed photovoltaic panels. The birds still sit about 5 meters away but it's good enough for me since I simply wanted to keep them from damaging the panels.

  • Good product .

Very realistic looking and has reduced the number of pigeons in the garden massively. I put it up on a string between two trees so it could move along the string - it looks very threatening and quite entertaining. Would recommend at this price.

  • Simple to fly

The kite seemed very useful for a young child's first kite (with adult help) because of its simplicity. The only flight with it so far backed this up and should be lots of fun in the future.

  • looks good when flying

It has survived but only because it has broken from the pole and actually broken the pole on gthe last occasion. I think it would be better if a swivel was attached.

  • No more seagulls

Seems to have done the trick as no seagulls on the roof or chimneys since we put it up. Has withstood gale winds during the last few days but will probably need replacing at the end of the summer

  • Brilliant item!

I didn't buy the hawk kite for the entertainment, or educational purposes. I bought it to scare the pigeons that roost on my pergola. I have to say since I put it up the hawk has more than fulfilled my expectations, in fact it has exceeded them...I have not seen one pigeon!! I can now leave my table and chairs out without worrying about bird mess on them. A great result, so I am very happy to recommend this product.

  • Didn't work for me.

When it flies this kite is realistic, but it didn't wok for the seagulls in my area which only looked on it with disdain. It may be that it just wasn't high enough as I have seen these working in other places. My advice would be to buy a very tall pole to fly this from.
