Good sound quality but latency issues develop with anything but a small load
Sound quality good. But though latency ok at first with a couple of tracks and plug ins operating (FL Studio) such as basic virtual drum tack and sampler say - the audio soon starts to crackle and you will need to increase buffers from transparent setting (playable <6ms delay) say to 128kb + and delay becomes noticeable. My now redundant EMU 1616M was way better IMO. But for ~ £120 this is represents a good basic device for small studio / gaming setup perhaps. Cheaper version also from NI if don't need digital option.
