Quality of print is excellent. Very noisy...but...I think this may actually be a plus...because...on other printers I have the toner does not last as long but I can get it to work ok longer if I take cartridges out and shake them. With this printer the vibrations may do it. I am able to print many many thousands of pages black and color for several months after the messages from the printer say toner is at zero. Since obviously this is not true it would be better for me if it would tell the truth and actually show toner is not empty. When directly connected by cable to router it may start printing faster but I use the wireless feature (printer is 6 feet from my laptop/router) and like that very much...except...the printer is extremely slow in starting to print. I noticed this comment from others before I made my purchase but decided to buy it anyway. Perhaps it has something to do with speed of my wireless instead of the printer but it is annoying. I will hear a single click from the printer and know that my copy will be made but it is a very long time before it actually starts to print. The printer was purchased maybe 5 months ago. Although the above somewhat negative comments are true, they are simply annoyances and overall I am still very pleased with the printer. Once it finally starts to print the print speed is good. That said though, if I am printing a large document...maybe 20 pages...it will take a long time to download the data wirelessly to start as mentioned above and when it does finally start it will print some pages...maybe 5 or so...then stop and wait until more data is received and then print again, continuing in this fashion until done. As said above, this may not actually be the printers fault but rather the wireless methodology. I have not yet tried to print from very long distances but will be interested in trying it...for example, I may go to Bangkok in a few months and am interested in being able to print from there via internet to my laptop in Illinois, U.S.A. to the printer wirelessly also in Illinois as it is currently set up. Doing so would be a little similar to use of fax as I see it. I do miss not having a way to send/receive faxes on a normal (old fashioned) fax machine because they require a land line connection which I no longer have and except for that feature I do not miss. One other somewhat minor complaint..but seemingly common with anytime I try to get help troubleshooting for anything nowadays, not just printers. Recently my laptop has been running very slow and I had to wait maybe 2 or 3 minutes for any page to appear. I finally got so disgusted with Windows 10 for this I completely reset the software. Now the computer is running fast again....but...in the process I had to completely reload the printer driver etc. from the supplied disc. When completed the printer even printed a test page ok...but...when I tried to print something else from the laptop it did nothing and the printer itself gave message of zero items in que. I tried the troubleshooting from the downloaded disc but did not help so I called the help number. The lady was extremely difficult to understand...maybe from India but not sure...but she did try very hard. It took probably over an hour or more on the phone to be able to connect her to the computer for her to check all out, it printed a test page, and she then told me the printer was in "sleep mode" but that it would print ok and then we disconnected. Unfortunately again it would not print for me but...after...checking and feeling rather stupid I realized that the laptop was set for the wrong printer...I have 2 other priners (HP)...and now I am able to print ok. This was yesterday. I am glad things are now back to "normal."Read full review

I decided to go with the Samsung C1860FW over the Brother 9340CDW and Cannon MF628Cw. The specs and features offered on this printer are impressive and it proved to be the best bang for my buck. At 19ppm it ran circles around the Cannon MF628Cw and the Near Field Comminication (NFC) was not offered on the Brother or the Cannon. The Cannon MF8580 is a more comparable model to the Samsung however it doesn't offer NFC technology either which comes in handy if you are a cell phone junkie who does alot of work from your phone. Setup of the Samsung was fairly easy and the 4.3" touchscreen is user friendly and easy to navigate. Print quality is exceptional as you would expect displaying vibrant colors and crisp detailed images. The paper tray holds 250 sheets and the document feeder holds 50. Replacement cost of toners are comparable to other printers in this class and average about thirty dollars per toner online, black toners are estimated at over 2000 prints and color toners at about 1800. The astictics of this machine are nice and it fit in the same spot my old ink jet was in however it is significantly taller and heavier. This machine is well built and includes a host of fabulous features like NFC tap and print, front panel USB, wireless printing, ECO- driver and easy change drum and toner cartridges, I love my Samsung and you will too!Read full review

Do your research on this printer because you'll find out what an excellent buy it is. The only issue you may run into is that it might be challenging to set it up if you have a wireless access point. I've only started to try and configure it, but it's giving me a really hard time and just to get it going on the network I had to hard wired, Apart from that struggle my only other regret is that I didn't come across it much sooner. The print quality is excellent and the toner is very reasonably priced. Also the support is very good.

It is a great product. The previous 41 reviews do it justice. For the money, it has to be one of the best lasers printers on the market, I fee. It is a good bang for your buck. So far I am very pleased and happy that I made this decision. I asked previously whether or not there is a manual that should've come with it? That would be most helpful.

Easy to connect, install driver and begin using. Makes great quality prints, copies and scans. As a color laser printer it provides all the functionality that the typical small office needs. At the price point it is currently priced it is one of the most competitively priced units available.

This was my best buy of the season, the printer didn't have a mark on it and works like a charm , it makes photo quality prints in seconds with very simple setup due to the easy on screen instructions . The unit is a bit large but the massive output and multi user functions wireless capabilities more than compensate for the large size

This is a machine designed for business so it’s got every feature in terms of network setup. It did make it a little tricky to set up on my home network as I wasn’t familiar with all the options. Love the printer though.

I just keep buying one when things wear out, instead of replacing parts because it costs less. Printing is sharp, colors are bright. One of the few printers that will print photos well. Easy to set up, Feature rich.

I did quite a bit of research before purchasing this printer. Set-up was easy, printing and scanning is easy, and it was a great value. I saw this printer at a local store and saved about $150 buying it from eBay. Plus I didn't have to load and unload it from my car!
