Essential, if you need one...
Whilst perusing the underbelly of my Pug 206, as one does, whenever it's on a ramp for routine maintenance, I couldn't help but notice how corroded the old fuel tank strap was - so replacing it with one of these was the only logical step. Luckily, the tank itself is plastic, so the only problems there will be all that nasty sludge, sloshing about in the bottom from many years of collected condensation - when earlier owners failed to keep the tank topped up. Empty fuel tanks allow condensation to build up on the interior tank walls, which is washed off when the tank is filled or from the motion of your vehicle. Ideally, every tank should be run dry, every year, then removed and cleaned out to remove all that accumulated gunk - but who does that now...?Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
