For the price I paid this is an amazing little console. The images look lovely and play smoothly. If I was paying full price I'd go for the standard Switch as the option to play on the big screen is the one thing you miss with the lite. The battery lasts long enough to play my games for a couple of hours, I'm definitely classed as a casual gamer so this is fine for me. I also have a 2ds, the graphical improvements over this are astonishing. What I'd really like to see though is an evolution in the gameplay itself, but that is for the software designers to sort out.

Bought for son as a Christmas present and he has not stopped playing with it to the exclusion of most of the other toys. The graphics are really sharp and, coupled with the headset, one can get immersed into the created game world. We're happy he's happy.

My little boy really enjoys this. At 5 yrs old, the Lite is better sized for his small hands than the larger normal switch that his older brother has. The battery life could be better and bit of a faff to shut it down properly rather than just sleep it, but does him good to have a screen break regularly anyway so not all bad. 4 stars due to battery as envisage like most electricals, this will further deteriorate with age which will become a pain.

I love the handheld form factor,, more comfortable to hold than the full fat version. So good I bought two. One for my boy and one for myself!
