Great for dinner parties as well as everyday use
This plate warmer is very handy when there is a lot in the oven and no space left to heat the plates. It can be placed on a worktop or side table keeping the plates warm until the meal is ready to be served. It takes about 15 minutes to reach full temperature, so I plug it in, with the plates placed inside, well before the meal is ready and I keep it plugged in until plates are needed. I haven't had mine long enough for the outer cover to get soiled and if care is taken, it should not need to be cleaned. However, it does state in the instructions that the plate warmer outer cover can be washed. All in all it is very useful and easily stored when not in use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
