Powerful long term upgrade
These CPUs are now a reasonable price and well worth the money I upgraded from a 2600 and it's night and day games I couldn't play. I now can and it's taken away the bottle like that I had and can use my 3080 at full power. Lots of FPS. Also works great on a MSI x470 gaming plus with a simple BIOS upgrade which took a couple minutes to download and put on a USB stick and a couple of minutes to install. Simple as that. Super happy!
