Paris, 1880s Paul Gauguin (Kiefer Sutherland) is a successful stockbroker who loves his wife Mette, (Natassja Kinski), his four children however he also loves to paint. When one of his idols, Camille Pissarro (Allun Armstrong) compliments his work, Gauguin decides to throw it all in to become a painter himself. Paradise Found tells the story of the French post-impressionist artist Paul Gauguin who abandoned is career, wife, children and homeland to live and paint in Tahiti.
