Nightwish's driving force and creative maestro Tuomas Holopainen has written a celtic symphonic concept album based on Disney's Scrooge McDuck. Featuring Troy Donockley's celtic instruments and Johanna Kurkela's vocals over Holopainen's score performed by the London Philharmonic.
Nightwish fans will be able to recognise the trademark Holopainen style albeit in a much less metal genre.
It is nicely presented with cartoons drawn by graphic novelist Don Rosa (who's graphic novel was the basis for the album).
A must for any tuomas, nightwish or symphonic fans
Ignor the title, this is a must for symphonic fans. this has a definate tuomas influance heard in recent nightwish albums. Not symphonic metal but closley related. Troy, tuomas eliments are easily recognised.
