The Dapol National Power 59 204 is an excellent model locomotive. It's not quite on a par with the super-detail of the Hattons' 66, but very close, and here's the thing - nothing falls off, body removal is easy without collateral damage - I've removed mine 5 times already. It's very smooth, hauls very well and has a reasonable turn of speed. So far there's no sign of the limited-life motors found in the Class 68, but it seems a design now not to use springs on the brushes, just 'springiness' in the brush mounts. Appearance, colour hue all appear correct. Rotating axleboxes do just that, without any causing 'wobbles' or falling off. Opening doors - erm, OK, they do, for 8mm - not enough to permit access, placement of crew, so a little pointless. Overall, excellent.
