As a space heater I would say its very good for a small workshop and it heats it up quickly to a comfortable temperature, where you would think that the heat would be directed out of the front it tends to be dispersed at a wide angle so you dont get direct heat but it dissipates it quite well. on the down side due to it using a fan it is quite noisy and resembles the sound of a big old blowlamp or weed burner, which basically it is a blowlamp with a fan. Lighting it is by turning the gas on at the bottle turn on the fan then depress and hold the red button and depress the igniter, Hear the roar and its lit, hear just a hiss and its not. A good product that for the money that is quite small and how long it will last I cant tell, but it works, the only thing i dont like about it is the supplied hose which is coiled up and neigh on impossible to straighten out and remains determined to coils back up at the slightest opportunity and can pull or move the heater so that is a point to be aware of, other than that it comes with a propane regulator and apart from connecting the pipe and handle your good to go. One small maybe tip is to do with the pipe, before you fit it try warming it up with maybe a hairdryer and uncoiling it, keeping it straight while it cools can straighten it a bit and make it more manageable and apart from finding a home for your gas bottle it seems to be quite efficient as it warms up quickly so you turn it off quicker, (yes you turn the gas off at the bottle)
