Overall a good purchase

Disappointed...
CONS: Several wires were bent all around the cage and several welds were broken. The middle ladder keeps falling off leaving my ferret stranded. It would be nice if the two plastic platforms were wider. The opening leading to the next level would have been better in a corner instead of right in the middle of the cage, my ferret falls thru while sleeping stretched out up top. Huge cage
This cage is really big, Prefect for my two ferrets with tons of extra room. Set up was pretty easy. One thing to remember is that the top front and back doors get set up before the screws go in. I added sticky flooring samples to the bottoms(there is a pic of floor example) to make it more comfortable for my furry babies and makes it easier to clean as well. You have to make sure you clip the ramps fully in so they don’t fall down, it’s a little hard but they will not come it if you clip them all the way in. My only con about this cage is that the doors only open on the one side. But it’s a great value for the price and has a lot of space, very good quality.

RATS ESCAPE
Actually a super awesome cage I’m glad I bought, especially for the price. Sugar gliders were said to escape (but I don’t have one so it doesn’t bother me) BUT RATS ESCAPE AS WELL :( No one mentioned escaping rats but they can. Great alternative to the expensive critter nation!
Over $100 cheaper than a brand new critter nation for mostly the same thing. You don’t get both front doors opening however, which I really wish it had. Only the right side opens. People have complained of rats escaping, and perhaps that is true for very young rats but mine are 4 months and while they can definitely stick their heads through, they would be very uncomfortable trying to squeeze through to escape. They aren’t very adventurous rats either Definitely should cover the wire bars on the floor with something as wire floors are not good for any animals feet. Very spacious, it’s huge! Ferrets Castle
It was fairly easy to put together. I used my drill driver & was very careful not to over tighten. I put reptile carpet, cut to fit, the ramps using a waterproof glue. I also used zip ties to secure the ramps after I drill holes large enough to put the zip tie through. This was done so they didn't unhook & fall. Miss Diesel was scared when one came unhooked. These are just to make it more comfortable for the ladies. If you make adjustments & it doesn't work the manufacturer isn't responsible. My two ferrets love it.
