Works as promised, but needs some tweaking outside of Europe
This device does what it is supposed to do: it let's you control your Daikin AC wall unit with your phone, even remotely. What was a bit tricky, however, was the fact that it only communicates with the Daikin Online Controller app available in the European iOS app store. You need to be able to access the European store to download it, you can't get it on the US store. Either switch stores in your current AppleID (can't have any credit, need to cancel Apple Music) or just create a new AppleID based in Europe. After figuring this out, the device works like a charm. Installation was also doable, even though the installation manual does not show you how to connect the unit to the AC wall unit. Search for "Installation module wi-fi Daikin BRP069A42" on YouTube, that will help. Your wall unit might be a bit different (mine was), but the general procedure can be followed. Worked perfectly
