The thermometer appears to be accurate as I checked it against another thermometer so it is a good buy for the price.the only bad thing about it is the metal is poorly finished it is sharp I used a small file to get rid of the sharp metal .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Caution in handling this thermometer
Accuracy is okay but prior to use the very thin aluminium housing found to have very sharp edges in fact caused cut to finger just looked like a cut you can get from paper had to use my dremil to deburr edges now can handle safely.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
