My new Instant Pot LuxV3, 6qt cooker
Bought this instead of a electric smoker I first wanted cause I did not want to wait 5-6 hours for my ribs to cook. Now, I realize it's almost always necessary to put food in oven or a grill to complete the flavorful cooking we all like. But I can make my baby back ribs rack in the IP meanwhile prep/start my Weber charcoal grill to smoke the meat some afterwards. Bit more work than I prefer but the first thing I cooked was dry rubbed, baby back ribs, with apple juice in my new IP. Then finished them in the preheated oven to finish them. Will be trying a few more recipes soon in my new IP LUXV3, 6qt, 6-1 pressure cooker. Still may buy that electric smoker this fall when my patience will be better for longer cooking times, ;>) But for now, IP for Me.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Quickest, easiest, best food!
I have had this same Instant Pot for a over a year now. It's so easy to use, and everything I have made in it has been amazing. I just bought another one for my grandma. Nice looking, easy to operate and saves a lot of cooking time.
I bought this pressure cooker because my wife had heard great things about it from people where she works. It arrived and my wife cooked several meals right away with it. Everything she made was wonderful, it cooked everything just right and in a much shorter time than conventional pressure cookers. Easy to shut down and clean. Great product
We have been using standard pressure cookers for the last 20 years and this time we decided to try electric one. After some research we have selected Instant pot and looks like was right choice. The control is intuitive and you can start using it right out of the box. However in order to make perfect meal it will take some time. Do not get disapointed if your first meal is undercooked or overcooked. Change amount of water, setting and try again. Once you learn which setting is right, how much water it takes you will have perfect cooking pot. It took me 3 attempt to find right ratio of water and rice and right setting. Now i have every time perfectly cooked rice in 8 minutes. Unlike standard pressure cooker electric cooker cannot be cooled down under running water. You need to include cooling time into total cooking time in order to prevent food to be overcooked. As far as size in my opinion 6Qt is good size for 2-3 people. For 4 or more people 8Qt would be better size. I would strongly recommend this cooker.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

AMAZING Machine- life changing.
This thing has changed our lives already. The steam function was one of the main things I bought it for- it steams veggies in like 2 minutes. I love that you can program it for future turn on when away from home- as it slow cooks faster than the old 90's crock pots- so it doesn't need to be on for 8-10 hours like those, which means I'm at work when it needs to come on. Amazing, A++ and Glad I Reviewed Before Buying
Great product, easy to use and SO many HOW to Videos on Youtube and online. So simple, even a Caveman like me can use it!!! I'm glad I looked around before I bought this Instant Pot. I was a little fearful being an inexperienced cook myself, a Dad of three with my wife working most nights as a RN Nurse and a Army Mechanic, not a cook. But, it has been the Best thing I have every bought. So easy to clean and the Time from start to finish for just about every meal is about 20 min. Frozen Chicken 10-12 min, Pot Roast 26 min, Soups and Stews 20 min, Rice 10 min, Steamed Veggies 8-10 min.... And I haven't figured out all the easy program buttons on the front, but most recipes only call for the MEAT or the STEAM button or the SAUTE button.... I can't wait to use it more, plus cooking at home without of the extra sodium and stuff from Restaurants and Pre-made boxes or cans has been great form my Blood Pressure and Waist Line :-) even cook or have enough meal left over even when my wife is Not working, which may have been Her Plan all along, hmmm... Cheers and Happy Cooking/Steaming for all those who take the leap and get this Great Cooker!!!! It came with extra Tools and Utensils that I wasn't expecting..... Very Fast from Start to Finish and Easy to Clean.... NO More Pizza, Store bought Chicken or Boxed Dinners when Mom works, DAD is in Charge!!!! So good I want another one

Great product!! It does it all, Slow cook, Fast(pressure) cook, Saute like a pan, makes rice, it makes CAKE!
Broke the liner of my old slow cooker. Replaced the whole thing with an instant pot and I couldn't be happier. I can make a whole dinner right in one pot. Put it on saute to cook the garlic and onions or whatever, then switch it to manual and cook the crock pot ribs or curried chicken or whatever. Then tomorrow I made rice in it for the stir fry. The rice took 15 minutes start to finish. Then the following day I made some of great slow cooker pasta. This is the best product ever. It does everything. Now that I've had it awhile I plan on buying another liner/pot with a separate lid to be able to make two dishes at the same time.
