First time I've bought Bahco plumbing pliers so, time will tell how good or bad they are. Very narrow jaws, this will definitely see the teeth wear out quicker than say a Channellock or Crescent set would. They're not really designed for heavy work like gripping steel pipes or large onions, more suited to nuts and 15mm and 22mm fittings, definitely not for 28mm stuff. I was surprised and disappointed to discover that the handles when closed can touch each other, that means they'll nip and injure your palms should you lose grip and slip off the workpiece. Not good. But, they're nicely made and handles are decent. The button mechanism is unique and takes a bit of time to get used to. Overall - I'd say they're not bad, but they're not a patch on a set of Knipex Cobra or Alligator.

Whilst more expensive than many other slip joint pipe grips, the additional cost is justified by the excellent quick and easy to use adjustment mechanism. Depressing the lever on the handle allows the jaw to slide freely to a new position and once released locks firmly. The teeth into which this mechanism locks are spaced at 4mm which I believe provides a finer adjustment than conventional designs.

Really like they way you don't need to press the button to adjust the jaws closer (you only press it for opening), you can just push them together and it ratchets. Much quicker to use than the ones with the button on the side where you need to select exactly the right size beforehand each time.

These are well designed easy to use, brought 1 but found them to be so handy I got another pair. Would recommend to anyone

The design of the adjustment mechanism is much better than traditional slip joint pliers. It is easy and quick to alter the width of the jaws and gives a positive lock.
