Not well designed, sadly.
Unfortunately I can not give this product more than one star as the lid of the flask does not sit properly under the valve, even when one has fully locked the inconveniently rotating coffee brewing part into the water reservoir moulding. In addition, the spring of the valve is so strong that it requires an effort to push it up to open the valve, so much so that one has to distort the upper part of the machine. Also, no filter cone is provided and though it is implied that one does not need to use a filter, in my experience you really do need one. I am giving one star for the swift delivery, only.

Can't fault it for price and quality of build, packaged very well and easy to set up,heats up instantly and holds the coffee at a reasonable heat after brewing , only one fault if the filter paper isn't sitting correctly it tends to fold over when closing the housing to commence brewing, resulting in clear hot water filtering, a result of the design , a crescent shaped flter holder is nice on the eye, but not all together practicable , but once known not a problem, after all its priced at the lower end of the market and does the job
