Works like a vhatm
Connected the adaptor to the AAUI port on my Mac, an Ethernet cable to the router, and my old computer again has (limited) Internet access. I’m quite satisdied with this purchase.

It actually works!
Using this adapter, I was able to connect my vintage Apple Performa 6115cd to a modern router and connect to FTP servers both on my local network and on the Internet!
