It's as durable as a plastic kiddie-toy product would be expected to be; I recommend it as a party or costume prop; it's entertaining if all you're looking for is a pretend toy trumpet, as the so-called kazoo feature doesn't work...the membrane material that's supposed to vibrate when you hum into the toy to produce the kazoo sound appears to be made of a card stock that's simply too thick to vibrate. A better choice would be materials similar to plastic grocery bags or kitchen plastic wrap. Since the top of the membrane holder is removable, the consumer could attempt to replace the card stock with a more appropriate membrane material, and who knows, it might just turn into a kazoo!
I needed this trumpet as part of a costume and it does the job. There is no sound, so for those looking for a trumpet that actually plays, this isn't for you. But, if you need it as decoration, such as I did, then it is perfect. Shipped super fast too.
Arrived today and it is enormous! About 10” long. Its a gift so I cant speak of the durability yet, but it looks like it’ll be a lot of fun to watch Him play.
