Don’t buy new buy refurbished
Looked brand new except battery and getting over 21 miles per charge on high power. Components are gates belt which are extremely expensive on their own, bafang motor which is custom to GTech. Tektro brakes could be better but do the job well at stopping. Saddle and handle bars grips are of a decent quality. Really like it used for two weeks so far. Had a squeaky crank but was told to use ptfe lubricant a small squirt and the bike is extremely quiet and smooth. Ideal for my commute. Takes the effort out of hills! Would recommend it. I don’t think the full retail price of £995 is worth it more like £700 there are good more powerful ebikes out there but the quality is good and simplicity takes the thinking out of riding.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Gtech electric hybrid
Excellent product, still enabling exercise but greatly reducing the effort required for climbing hills. The ballance between power of the motor and the riders effort works really well. I live in Derbyshire so hills are many and steep. The rear wheel drive is smooth and in economy drive takes the sting out of hills but still providing good exercise. Very good value bike
This bike has been excellent since I've had it. Very user friendly and a joy to cycle. Minimal maintenance required being a belt drive single gear and a good quality rear hub motor which makes hills and headwinds a thing of the past. The geometry of the bike is excellent too, it feels fast and it is comfortable for commuting without being so committed as to cause wrist aches or tingling fingers. Brilliant bike
This was a replacement for a previous gtech bike that was stolen. No hesitation in ordering the exact same bike again. It’s brilliant, so easy to use, we love riding our gtech bikes ( wife has the city bike) they make cycling so enjoyable. Bike is fine would only recommend you use it on roads definitely not off road as no suspension. It’s great for journeys if you just want to raise your fitness levels . I’m 56 , ain’t been on a bike for years but it sailed up the hill near me , you still got to do some work tho. . Nifty stylish eBike

Great bike
As a person of a certain age I have found the bike brings back the enjoyment I remember of a younger age. I can go further, hills are no longer daunting and I still have to work at pedalling so I can feel the benefit fitness wise.
