I have used the schultz can suction type waxing guns, which are ok, but the adaptor for spraying cavities doesn't evenly spray or really atomize the wax. This sealey gun does a much better job of wax spraying as its a pressurized gun, the 360 cavity adaptor sprays a solid 360deg mist, the small wand is really handy fi reaching difficult spots. spend the extra money and get a pressurized pot was sprayer if you are wanting to do a proper job.

Stupidly, this is the second Sealey SG18 wax injection gun I've bought, because I had the couplings from the first one, so thought 'I can reuse them'. I bought this to replace the first one which worked for a few jobs then just failed to regulate the air/contents mixture properly. Bear in mind I use airguns for painting, I know how to strip and clean air guns. The seals and system is just not designed to work for long, and so fluid just leaks out with trigger released, and the pressure regulation is dire. 'You get what you pay for' is so true with this product. Spent hours trying to get them both to work again. Huge waste of time. Avoid.

Bought kit as previous sprayer which screwed into litre bottle was not able to spray waxoyl out of tube in order to treat cavities- probably too little pressure and different way that wax is drawn up from reservoir. In this kit the vessel is pressurised directly. In previous sprayer vacuum created at top of vessel by high pressure air. Overall. Works far better than previous sprayer. Sprayed out of tube using about 4 bar pressure. Found took few seconds to pressurise container before wax came out of tube. When stopped spraying had to leave a few seconds before wax exited again. Spray quite fine. I am going to try 6 bar pressure next time. Overall pleased but at 60 quid plus far too much for a pressurised metal container, 2 lengths of silicone tubing and 2 metal spray heads.

New out of box the trigger was very stiff. When trigger released it stayed open. It would not pass wax at max air pressure unless thinned to solvent consistency. Haven’t been able to use it. Went back to cheap machine mart tool. No help from suppliers. Wouldn’t recommend.

Really impressed with the product much easier than other guns I've tried. This will pay for it's self as iam not wasting any amount of oil wax unlike other methods I've used. Really good quality product in my opinion it's definitely worth buying.. I've also took off the hard annoying hand held attachment hose(the shorter 1 of the 2) and replaced it with a soft longer much much easier to work with hose i had off a turbo boost gauge. I will try upload sum pics soon.. 👍👍👍

replacement for previous model, looks identical but seals are smaller and spares not sold for that model. Sealeys rrp of £160 VERY EXPENSIVE, but £84 is acceptable. Expensive but does the job and well made. pity about lack of spares backup.

This is a good bit of kit, but with limitations. Firstly the plastic tubing is pretty rigid, which makes for a tiring and cumbersome time maneuvering the end. Second, even through pressurized, the wax needs to be thin enough to spray, but thick enough not to drip and run off. I warmed the wax and gun to 60C and added thinners to allow a spray.

Well built and positive feed with a high pressure. Application pipes work well and essential for hidden but vital application. Container very robust and I place on a heat pad to warm it up and this keeps the already warmed material in good flowable condition for excellent penetrating application of Waxol. That said it would spray cooled material and I have never had a blockage. Remember to set the compressor below the max opperating pressure for safety reasons.

Not the cheapest in the market, but had all the accessories you need in the box. I completed my old Range Rover in a morning, very pleased with the quality of the kit, no problem in recommending
