Needs work to set it up properly, otherwise good value.
This is a good value product, although it takes quite a while to build. My only gripe is the main pivot bearing ( Well it's a plastic bush, not a proper bearing) which has play in it and because of this cuts can easily be off square a few degrees, I hope to fix this by inserting a shim washer but frankly this should not be necessary. I would only recommend it to somebody who is prepared to work to fine tune it and ideally has a spare angle grinder which can be left attached.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

fiddly, cheap but works with effort in set up
fiddly to put together but bear in mind for many angle grinders, fits where it touches. I intend to make additional bushes to keep screw clamps that hole pivot frame to Grinder to hold more securely. Before use do not rely on angle plate but set up both axis with set square to ensure correct angle to cutting disc. All in all good value cheap tool, if you want accurate use and are prepared to take care with set up and not expect miracles then this is of use, if not spend more on stronger unit. Not any good
I could not work out how you could hold the grinder in the vertical position. It just seems to pivot on two screws where the grinder handle is normally attached. I gave up in the end and kept the vice and cast iron base which are nice quality.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Amazing little machine for the money.
I thought it would be a bit inferior for the money but it is quite acceptable. I wanted it to cut some 20mm square tube accurately and it did the job brilliantly. A bit fiddly setting up but that’s to be expected from a universal machine. All in all very pleased.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
