Good product
The Fiamma lock adds some extra security to what is the almost non-existent security of most Motorhome doors. One small criticism noted is that while the lock is in the open position the barrel of the lock protrudes and cannot be covered with the attached cover while driving. A minor irritation but one the manufacturer should consider correcting.

Fiamma door lock
I bought this Fiamma door to replace my existing one (damaged lock) - However, buyers beware. My old lock had a 13 cm throw when turned into the locked position. The new lock - which was an exact replacement, so no new holes - only has an 8.5 cm throw when in the locked position. Arguably it provides less security than the old style. This may cause some buyers to have to drill new fixing holes, in order for the lock to be in the best position. Not happy at all about that Fiamma 😠

Replacement lock
I bought this product to replace an old one on my motor home. Luckily the holes were in the same place as the old one so fitting was easy. The old one gave 12 years service and hopefully this one will.

Good piece of kit.
Does what it says on the can. Just a point, one needs to be able to open this door from the inside in case of emergency, but leaving it unlocked means the keyhole button protrudes from the side of the motorhome.

Easy to fit and effective.
This is the second Fiamma Lock that I have purchased and fitted on different vehicles. The lock itself is extremely robust and easy to use. Fitting is reasonably straightforward and took about one hour, including taking the tools out and putting them away.

Caravan security lock
The bolts supplied were too long so I had to cut them down the back plate would not fit because of the shelves inside the caravan so when I do modify it wasn't too bad a job but not straightforward

Easy fit and looks neat
A straightforward fit as long as you can access the wall behind the edge of the locker door. Useful deterrent to add to the lock/latch on the compartment door. Nothing is impregnable though and I suspect a few hefty blows with a lump hammer would break this; but it might slow a thief down or make them go elsewhere. Peace of mind for me to protect the contents of our campervan garage a bit more.

Very good deterrent.
Prevents the door being forced open and covers caravan door handle and lock. Only as strong as the body panels it mounts on to, but still a very good deterrent against the casual thief.

Fiamma door lock
I have got one of these on my motorhome door, but have bought this one to go on the locker to secure the under bed space. Makes it a bit more unattractive to thieves and gives me peace of mind.
