Duran type bottles
These bottles are ideal for reliable, long term storage of chemicals or materials sensitive to moisture ingress. The GL45 caps seal well without to much tightening, although acidic vapours( particularly hydrogen halides) do bleach the colour out of them. Certain chemicals can damage the polypropylene caps eventually, but in general these are excellent containers, also being useful for any small items - pins, ball bearings, etc. Highly recommended- I have loads of them...

does what it should although haven't tried it in an oven ! But in the interests of cleaning the bottle top threads the ending of the threads could be less fine so as NOT to trap dirt !
