Very capable and a great addition to a diy workshop.
The setting up was the most difficult part. My instructions were ripped so I had to look at the picture to work out what goes where. Provided you have the correct adapters, a bush or bearings etc. simply whizz in the mountings and is very solid and stable in doing so too. I had spent a fortune getting various hand tools to press in a rear trailing arm bush on a Mazda 3. What a nightmare of a job for an amateur mechanic. Hand tools that you wind in or out simply do not have the required force to push these bushes in, they either slip to one side, ruin threads or the job just explodes out under the pressure! Not recommended! I bit the bullet and got one of these then and after assembling, got to work. Took TEN SECONDS to press in and I’ve been at it with various tools for the last month in my spare time. One thing to note though and it is quite a big point; The bottle jack base is just sitting on its plate without anything holding it securely! On my first dry run attempt, the jack started to slip to the side. It really needs to have 4 corner screws/bolts to secure it down but I used 2 mole grips - one either side to secure it. Also the bottle jack needs a bit of oil or WD40 type spray as mine had clearly gone dry in storage. Once this was done, it performed admirably.

My only criticism is that It is described as "Floor Standing" but it is for a bench. Other than that, great value for money. Does exactly what I wanted. It has saved me more than taking my parts to a garage to have pressed.
