Previously bought rival indoor TV Aerial, just wouldn't pick up BBC 1 etc. channels it did pick up occasionally lost picture quality, really annoying. The 50 mile range Monarch brilliant, now receive all channels perfectly all the time. When you first open box looks flimsy but it isn't just very lightweight and robust. This without a doubt is the biggest waste of money I have ever spent. The product was tried in 3 different locations 10 miles apart, all within 20/25 miles of the transmitter, non of us received a single program. Great but not for my basement
I bought this to use for a basement room, unfortunately it did not work. However I have one for the ground floor and it works a treat so a 5 star for the first one I bought. Excellent Indoor TV aerial
This aerial worked as soon as I plugged it into the TV. I wasn't sure what aerial to buy for our new digital TV. We only had the old type of aerial(not digital) and didn't want the expense of having a new digital one installed.So after some research on the net and reading reviews this indoor one seemed to stand out so I purchased it. I placed it behind my curtains on my window sill.Picture on TV is great and we can get all the channels. Does exactly what it says on the box.
Living close to the maximum range of a low power transmitter, I have tried several indoor aerials over the years without much success. They were OK with about 8 freeview channels but gave poor quality signals which regularly pixelated or dropped out with the others even when using a signal booster. When I received the RGTech Monarch 50, I first tried it without booster against a window with a clear line of sight of the transmitter and retuned the TV but was disappointed as it replicated my existing situation and was sensitive to its.position. I then relocated to the attic where the booster was located facing the general direction of the transmitter.and retuned, Immediately I received all the available freeview channels most with a 100% signal strength, the remained with at least 60%. However the signal quality of all channels is now 100%, a few occasionally dropping to 90%. The only problem now is choosing which channel to watch given the increase of available channels, all with excellent reception.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Camper TV aerial.
Great little aerial. It's like a flimsy sheet of thin plastic with a lead from the centre, so basically unbreakable. Not much to look at, but works remarkably well....
We bought this aerial in the hope that it would enable us to watch TV (and listen to radio) in our conservatory, which is a long way from our fixed TV aerial. We live in a rural area, and our nearest TV transmitter is many miles away so the signal is never very strong anyway. When the RG Tech Monarch arrived, we felt a bit downcast as it appeared to consist mainly of a long strip of strange floppy material. However, after installing it in our conservatory we were able to receive all the BBC TV channels, and all of the national and some of the local BBC radio stations very well. After experimenting with the aerial in different locations, we are now able to receive almost, if not all Freeview channels with great clarity. Not bad for an expenditure of £14.99! Meanwhile, our neighbours, who were also unable to receive TV in their extension, have just spent over £300 on a new fixed aerial that is already giving problems.... For anyone buying this aerial, do give it a chance and spend as much time as you need to find the best location for it - you won't be disappointed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
