Armaf's Tres Nuit - a little synthetic but smooth & easy to pull off.
I actually purchased this as a Christmas gift for my father in law, but could not resist giving it a wearing on my skin. I was actually blown away. My father's signature scent was Halston Z14, no doubt an old school classic known for it's vetiver which is dryer than my wife's sense of humor. I tried to get him on Cool Water back in the day and like all aquatic scents he was uninterested - but I've always heard people comparing Cool Water and Tres Nuit/Green Irish Tweed, so that is the scent DNA I was expecting. None of that here. Tres Nuit is a grown man fragrance but not in that Polo Green type of way. It is mass appealing, undaring but refuses to be sweet like other trendy fragrances being worn by today's youth. I think most will like it, I sure did - but don't expect to smell freshly cut grass or any of that other Green Irish Tweed marketing jargon. Don't expect it to smell super unique.
