Small and lightweight
The remote control has shallow pads, which often it is very easy to catch the wrong one. Also the guide programs have two lines in blue and the chosen program is in a slighter light blue which can be confusing. I had the same refurbished Bush box previously which was brilliant so I decided to buy new this time. In my opinion, not all upgrades are for the best.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Poor value.

Fantastic Recoder
I Purchased this recorder to replace an old Bush Recorder that had finally broke down after a few years. This recorder is fantastic, the Huge 1TB hard drive has plenty of room for my recordings. The picture Quality & Sound Quality are both great. It records everything i set it for while i am out. it came on the day it was supposed to come & arrived well Packed in a plain white box with the remote, Power adapter & HDMI cable. Excellent buy
I bought this about a month ago after getting poor results from the built-in PVR function on my Sharp smart TV. I've been amazed at how well it works, and how good the firmware is, and you can indeed record two programmes while watching another that you have previously recorded. I believe that this model is made by Vestel in Turkey. Note that I haven't been able to test the online capabilities of this box as I can't connect it by ethernet to a router. However, as my smart TV has built in wireless, I don't need this functionality. Note that the four-way arrow keys can be used to move forwards by fixed amounts, which is not mentioned in the manual, and this is very useful for skipping ads!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Has issues
For some unknown reason it works perfectly fine then it goes into picture breakup ,I could send it back but unless you sit and watch it for hours ,you would say it's ok.it is generated through the recorder because it also effects the TV using the signal,but when arial cable is direct it's good.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

HELP
This worked fine for about 2 weeks and now shows nothing. I recorded a lot of programmes but they won't play either. All I get is a blue screen. I know it's not the aerial because I have it connected to the TV through the box and the TV picks up TV with no problem. Please could you advise or give directions to return.
